Seed Grant Award Year
2022

This project will create a foundational and systematic resource for researchers and students. Namely, the award will assist Irish in expanding the functionality and user base of the Early Modern studies research hub, “Sources of Emotion in English, 1500-1700” (SEMEE). The site links to a series of freely editable googledocs, which house bibliographies of primary and secondary sources related to the study of early modern emotion. As part of his IHR Seed Grant project, Irish will also prepare a research article entitled “Primary Sources of Early Modern Emotion in English, 1500-1700.” The essay will provide a scholarly bibliographic narrative that outlines the basic resources documented on SEMEE.
