“Inter/Desert Dialogues”  will develop a four-part dialogue series exploring the concept of the “inter/desert,” or a way of envisioning desert spaces as highly complex, historically and ecologically rich environments full of interdisciplinary potential. The project involves artists, scholars, writers, activists, and land managers inside and outside academia and from the United States and Australia. The work will connect campus communities at ASU with the university’s broader constituency through a public event at the Polytechnic Campus.
