This multi-pronged research project will examine social organization and interaction on the Yoruba frontier, Central Nigeria, using multiple source of evidence. The proposed study will produce a database of compositional analyses of Yoruba decorated ceramics that can be used by other researchers, and scholarly publications summarizing the results.
