This project launches an online exhibit of written scholarship with a corresponding collection of audiovisual resources to support the interdisciplinary study of dance and human culture. The exhibit features key scholarly and philosophical writings of anthropologist Dr. Joann W. Kealiinohomoku (1930–2015) coordinated with her extensive collection of audiovisual materials. The exhibit’s holistic approach and broad anthropological perspectives invite greater understanding of dance as a human universal. An article will be written by Adair Landborn to provide historical context for all exhibit materials and outline potential educational and research applications.
