While much attention has been devoted to Twitter’s role in the emergence and continuation for The Movement for Black Lives, podcasts have been largely ignored. Black podcasts contain first-hand accounts from Ferguson and Baltimore, interviews with activists and protestors, and a wealth of diverse opinions and analysis that will serve as vital historical resources for those wishing to understand the racial politics of the early 21st century. This project seeks to develop an archival infrastructure for such to ensure they are not lost to history like the majority of Black terrestrial radio from Civil Rights Movement era.
