This project consolidates several ASU initiatives to investigate the intellectual foundations of human rights theory and application. It provides opportunities for faculty and graduate students to contribute to ongoing dialogues and scholarship focused on conceptualizing, expanding and implementing international human rights while also contributing to the development of transdisciplinary, collaborative research within and between New Schools. It is a critical step towards establishment of an Interdisciplinary Center for Human Rights and the development of the necessary supporting library and video resources.
