The Institute for Humanities Research at Arizona State University is currently seeking nominations for our 2017 Transdisciplinary Humanities Book Award. To be eligible, books must be written in English, published in 2015 or 2016, and written or co-written by a tenured or tenure-track, full-time ASU faculty member whose work reflects the finest contemporary transdisciplinary humanities-based scholarship on any topic.

Books may be nominated by the author(s), their colleagues, or their publisher (one title per author, please). Please forward this call for nominations to ASU faculty and staff who you believe may be interested in nominating someone.

The winning book will receive a cash award of $1500, publicity in IHR materials, and an award certificate. The author(s) will be honored at an awards ceremony in the fall semester of 2017 where they will give a presentation and engage in a discussion of the winning book.
